Front matter is YAML metadata at the top of Markdown files, enclosed by ---.

updated_on
Use updated_on to explicitly set the last updated date of a page. This is especially useful when files are copied to a new machine (which resets OS modification times):

If updated_on is not set, hanamark falls back to the file’s OS modification time.

Hanamark supports multiple date formats for both created_on and updated_on:

First Image Preset
Opt a page’s very first Markdown image into the banner image preset (eager loading, high fetch priority — meant for hero/above-the-fold images):
